This workshop provides practical advice and tips on how to prepare and plan your first academic conference paper or departmental seminar. We use case studies to examine effective presentation skills and you will have the opportunity to practice presenting your research in small groups. 
 
This is an introductory session aimed at postgraduates and doctoral candidates who are new to presenting their research.
